New Generations Concert

Today I conducted my last concert for NMPAT, using Gran's baton. She came to see me conduct the County Junior Wind Orchestra in March 2014 at the Royal & Derngate Theatre in Northampton, where she took us as kids to see musicals! I thought of her a lot today, and hope I would have made her proud.

    Gran would have been so proud of you and tickled to see the baton back in use after nearly 50 years in a drawer!

    She would have been immensely proud of you (don't cry!), as were the members of your fan club who were able to come yesterday. You were fantastic and the baton made all the difference :) xxx
